Workflow: Verify Prerequisites for Physical Servers

This topic describes the workflow for verifying that your environment meets the minimum system requirements to install Anypoint Platform Private Cloud Edition on a physical server.

  1. Contact your customer success representative to obtain a product license for Anypoint Platform Private Cloud Edition.

  2. About Hardware and Device Requirements for Anypoint Private Cloud

    Review the minimum hardware and device requirements for Anypoint Platform Private Cloud Edition.

    If your system does not meet all of the minimum system requirements, you cannot install Anypoint Platform Private Cloud Edition.

    Review the minimum network requirements require to run Anypoint Platform Private Cloud Edition.

  4. To Verify Hardware Requirements

    Perform theses procedures to verify that your disk and network performance meets the minimum requirements.

    Run the gravity check script to verify that your system meets the minimum requirements required to install Anypoint Platform Private Cloud Edition.

  6. (Optional) Create a Virtual Machine

    If you are installing Anypoint Private Cloud on a physical server, you must install and configure a virtual machine. Only VMware and Bare Metal running RHEL are supported. See the documentation from your vendor for more information.

  7. To Enable Forwarding When Using firewalld

    If you are running Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), 7.3 using firewalld, you must enable forwarding.

  8. Ensure that the clocks on all servers are synchronized. Unsynchronized clocks can cause problems with platform communications.
