New Features and Enhancements

This version of Anypoint Platform Private Cloud Edition contains the following features and enhancements:

Feature Description

Update of Anypoint Platform

Includes new Anypoint Platform features from April 2017 and earlier. See Anypoint Platform Features.

Anypoint Platform Audit Logs

Supports a searchable history of actions performed within Anypoint Private Cloud Edition. See Audit Logging.

SMTP Platform Alerts on High CPU and Memory

Enables the platform to send alerts when CPU and memory usage reach certain thresholds. See To Setup Alerts for CPU and Memory Usage.

Infrastructure upgrades

Adds improvements to the platform infrastructure, including:

Security improvements

Adds security improvements, including:

  • Addition of role-based access

  • Ability to disable local user

New platform monitoring dashboard

Allows users to quickly troubleshoot the platform to identify problems

Internal and External traffic monitoring

Allow users to see which services are getting the most requests, and see the response times, and throughput.

Improved troubleshooting information

Improved logs and information in the diagnose package to simplify troubleshooting of issues.

Improved backup and restore

Upgrading from 1.5.x to 1.6.x

See To Migrate to Anypoint Platform Private Cloud Edition, Version 1.6.x for information on how to upgrade to the current version.

Before upgrading, you must backup your system as described in To Backup and Restore Your System After the upgrade is complete, perform a restore to return your system to its previous state.

Only LVM2 versions 2.02.166-1.el7_3.5 and earlier are supported. Later versions of LVM2 are not supported.

AOP-1253

Application artifact is deleted if two or more applications are using same .zip file.

Use different file names for each deployed file in the same environment.

Cannot delete a node that is no longer capable of running the Planet container. Also, cannot add it back to restore it.

AOP-1308

Update of 1 node environments from 1.5.X to 1.6X does not downscale replicas beforehand, causing the update to fail.
