Anypoint Platform Private Cloud Edition 2.1.0 Release Notes

New Features and Enhancements

This version of Anypoint Platform Private Cloud Edition (Anypoint Platform for PCE) contains the following features and enhancements:

  • Anypoint Platform for PCE features and enhancements

    • Update of all cloud components to January 2020.

    • Update of Kubernetes to 1.13.12.

    • Update of PostgreSQL to 9.6.17.

    • Update of Cassandra to 3.11.6.

    • Moved Docker device from the device mapper to the overlay storage driver for better performance and reliability.

    • Added support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.8 and 8.1.

    • Added support for CentOS 7.8 and 8.1.

    • Added many stability and security improvements that enable the Anypoint Platform to be more secure, scalable, and resilient.

  • Access Management features

    • OpenID Connect support

    • Audit log timestamp

    • Certificate validation configuration

    • Access delegation

    • Client deletion

    • Addition of recent items to help you navigate to previously viewed pages within Anypoint Platform.

    • Supports using Salesforce Identity as a SSO (single sign-on) provider with the OpenID Connect protocol.

      Salesforce is a certified OpenID Provider.

    • Audit log dates now display a timestamp that includes a year.

    • When configuring an external identity provider, users can now disable server certificate validation.

    • Enablement of non-SSO users for your organization allows organization administrators to invite and authenticate users outside of the external SSO configured for your organization.

    • Organization administrators can enable and disable automapper capability for Flow Designer under the organization settings in Access Manager.

    • You can enable client deletion in Anypoint Platform.

    • You can enable client deletion and updates in IdP, which allows updates and deletions of external clients in the configured IdP through an outbound call made by Anypoint Platform.

      To use this feature, you should opt-in to client deletion within Anypoint Platform.

    • The Audit Log screen and a downloadable CSV file now include environment names for events from API Manager, Runtime Manager, CloudHub, Partner Manager, and Anypoint MQ.

    • Connected Apps enables you to delegate access to apps without sharing sensitive credentials or giving third parties full control of their accounts.

Known Issues

Description Workaround

Some parts of the UI request fonts from external domains.

No workaround. These requests can be ignored.

Anypoint Studio integration

Check the Anypoint Studio Release Notes for known issues with Anypoint Platform PCE.

Updating the same certificate twice from the UI makes the redeploy job fail (AOP-2648).

No workaround.

Some containers running as root (AOP-2077).

No workaround.

NFS can not be changed from the UI if it is already configured (AOP-2688).

Delete the design-center-projects-service helm chart before reconfiguring NFS.

Backup procedure is not backing up all files.

To fix this, follow the instructions provided in: PCE 2.1 backup files are incomplete.
