Anypoint Service Mesh 1.0 Release Notes

Anypoint Service Mesh enables you to extend your microservices network by including your non-MuleSoft applications into the Anypoint Platform sphere.

MuleSoft announces the release of Anypoint Service Mesh 1.0.

What’s Supported?

Anypoint Service Mesh supports:

  • Anypoint Service Mesh CLI version 1.0.0

  • Istio 1.6.x, 1.5.x and 1.4.x

  • Kubernetes engines: Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Amazon EKS, and Azure Kubernetes Service

  • Asset types: REST, SOAP, and HTTP

  • Adapter plan sizes: small, medium, and large

  • Default policies:

    • Client ID Enforcement

    • Rate Limiting

    • Rate Limiting with SLA

    • JWT

    • Basic Authentication

    • LDAP Authentication

    • OpenID Connect OAuth 2.0 Token Enforcement

What’s Not Supported?

Anypoint Service Mesh currently does not support:

  • OpenShift deployments

  • Automated policies for non-Mule applications managed by Anypoint Service Mesh

  • Anypoint Visualizer for non-Mule applications managed by Anypoint Service Mesh
